This season sees Fabelab introduce a selection of environmentally-conscious products from GOTS Certified organic cotton, PLA and post-consumer polyester.
Fabelab backpacks outer and inner shell fabric is made from recycled post-consumer polyester which has been sourced from plastic bottles that are cleaned, shredded, and spun into a thread – 37 Coca Cola bottles have been used to make each large backpack!
The Fabelab GOTS Certified organic hats have been tested and certified to UPF50+ (UV Protection). The range includes bucket hats and sun bonnets in 6 different styles/colours from Newborn to 6 years old.
And for those thirsty days, the Fabelab sippy cups and matching coffee cups are made from PLA which is made from renewable fibres extracted from crops like sugar cane, corn, wheat, and/or sweet potatoes. It performs much like traditional plastic, but with the crucial benefit of being 100% compostable in commercial compost facilities.
The range also includes six meal sets in complementing colours.
